About Entabeni Game Reserve
Entabeni is a Big Five reserve in the Waterberg, about three hours north of Johannesburg, laid out across two escarpment levels so that a drive can move from open plains and wetland on the lower level to cliffs and sandstone on the upper. It is a lodge reserve rather than a self-drive park, with several lodges under one operator and guided drives included. The Waterberg is a malaria-low region, the reserve holds elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard, and the escarpment views make it one of the more scenic reserves in the north of the country.
