About Borakalalo Game Reserve
Borakalalo is a North West reserve around the Klipvoor Dam, about two hours north of Johannesburg, with white rhino, giraffe, leopard, sable and a strong bird list along the Moretele River. There are no lions, which is why it is one of the few reserves in the region where walking is allowed and why families and anglers like it. The dam is a fishing destination in its own right. Accommodation is self-catering and camping inside the reserve, with Brits and the Pilanesberg area within reach for a longer trip.
