Weenen Game Reserve, near the town of Weenen, is a thornveld sanctuary that helped save the white rhino, black rhino, buffalo, giraffe and eland. Self-guided auto trails, hides and bird watching make it a rewarding stop; a 4-bed chalet, campsite and the Nyandu environmental camp provide accommodation. Operated by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. Rates are per unit (Standard season) with an additional-person supplement.
