Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve, near Umzinto on the South Coast hinterland, is a mosaic of grassland and coastal forest with game (zebra, blue wildebeest, antelope) and rich birdlife. A rustic 2-bed rest hut and a unique 7-bed tree house provide accommodation. Operated by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. Rates are per unit (Standard season) with an additional-person supplement.
