Built on a hillside and boasting spectacular views of the Orange River and Namibia, Frontier River Resort is only 5km away from the border post on the N7. The site is an ideal stopover for travellers and holiday makers heading into or returning from Namibia, situated almost halfway between Cape Town (720km) and Windhoek (800km).
The resort offers 13 luxury safari tents with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. For the self-catering traveller, a tented boma kitchen equipped with a built-in braai, stove, basin, table and benches is available.
Owned and run by Dirk and Stephnie. Dirk is an overlander tour guide and photographer with 18+ years of experience, sharing his local knowledge with guests, while Stephnie prepares delicious farm-style meals at the farmhouse kitchen.
