Greystoke Mahale

Our iconic camp is strung along the Kangwena Beach on the edge of Lake Tanganyika in the Mahale Mountains National Park, with the forested peaks rising dramatically behind camp. This is as remote as you can get in Western Tanzania.

The camp has 8 A-frame bandas, 3 of them with a mezzanine. Activities on offer include Chimp-trekking, Lake Tanganyika, Life under the canopy and Village and project visits. Rates are quoted per person per night sharing on the Nomad Game Package, which includes a private guide and vehicle for game drives, all meals, house drinks and camp activities on a shared basis. Western Tanzania camps run on a Monday and Thursday flight schedule, so a minimum of three nights applies.
