Biweda Nguni Lodge is a true hidden gem in Mkuze, just 17km from the Mkuze Game Reserve gate its a perfect stay over for birders heading into the park daily. This farmhouse style lodge is set in a large garden bustling with birdlife, with a large swimming pool & Boma for braai dinners under the stars. With a great home cooked meal & the option of a packed breakfast for those heading out early for some birding adventures.

All rooms are en-suite and air conditioned with DSTV, coffee stations and wifi; all rooms have bar fridges. The two family units each pair a double room and a twin room with a shared bathroom and a private lounge with kitchenette, and the Deluxe Suite adds a separate lounge and dining room with its own outside fire pit and seating.

Mkuze sits between the Mkuze River and Ghost Mountain (Intaba Yemikhovu) on the N2, at the doorstep of some of South Africa's finest birding and game country: uMkhuze Game Reserve minutes away, Jozini Dam for tiger fishing and boat cruises, and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi, Sodwana Bay and the Mozambique and Eswatini borders all within easy reach. It is an ideal overnight stop or base for exploring the Elephant Coast.
